You wear it to work, while hanging out with friends etc., on a date or just on an ordinary day. It’s your favourite ring, necklace or bracelet and it adds something extra to your outfit – until it starts looking a little off color. Over time, it’s perfectly natural for jewelry to become dull, but it doesn’t mean it can’t be worn again. We call this tarnish, which is the same like wear- and-tear when it comes to jewelry. Tarnish occurs on jewelry when the surface of the piece combines with soap, body oils/acids, sweat and other outide substances. There are varying degrees of tarnish, making your jewelry look slighty dull or blackened. Being out in the world means being bombarded with all kinds of particles and substances over time. Therefore it is important to prevent tarnishing and act responsibly by following our maintainance advices.
If tarnishing has occured it may be possible to remove. We recommend you to follow this guide (on your own responsibility). See the video guide here.
We encourage you to take good care of your jewelry. Please follow the above maintenance advice. Otherwise, it will not be possible to make use of the warranty and complain of any defective products. Northern Legacy takes no responsibility for careless use or inappropriate storage.
We hope that you will be happy with your new Northern Legacy jewelry.
